Michael P. Sullivan graduated from Boston College in 1987 with a degree in history. He earned his law degree from Suffolk University in 1990. Upon graduation, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida, joining the Public Defender's Office in 1991. He has been in private practice since 1994 and opened his own office in 1995. He is currently the managing partner in the firm and handles workers' compensation and Social Security disability claims. He has been married to Joan, who also works at the firm, since 1992. They live in Fleming Island with their daughter Hannah. In his spare time, Mike practices Vovinam, a Vietnamese martial art, in which he holds a blue belt, second degree. In addition, he likes to cook, paint and garden.
