• Social Security Administration Website: The Social Security Administration website is a great resource for people applying for Social Security disability benefits.

Workers' Compensation

• Division of Workers Compensation for the State of Florida: The Florida Division of Workers Compensation website provides comprehensive information for injured workers in the State of Florida. Here you can check the Proof of Coverage Database to see if an employer is covered by Workers' Compensation Insurance and get the contact information to report your injury.
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA):   You have the right to a safe workplace. The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) was passed to prevent workers from being killed or seriously harmed at work. The law requires employers to provide their employees with working conditions that are free of known dangers. The Act created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), which sets and enforces protective workplace safety and health standards. OSHA also provides information, training and assistance to workers and employers. Workers may file a complaint to have OSHA inspect their workplace if they believe that their employer is not following OSHA standards or that there are serious hazards.
  

Criminal Defense

• Jacksonville-Florida DUI Laws and Penalties-DMV:

  If you drink alcohol and drive you dramatically increase your chance of being in a crash. In addition, if you are pulled over and the officer asks you to take a blood, urine or breath test you are required to comply. Florida has the "Implied Consent Law". When you sign your drivers license you have agreed to take these tests upon request. Refusal to take any of the tests will result in an immediate suspension for one year. A second refusal will result in an 18 month suspension.

The Florida Discount Drug Card is now available to all Florida residents without restriction and is accepted at over 60,000 pharmacies nationwide. Florida residents who qualify based on age or income status are eligible to receive additional savings. Signing up is simple and activation is instant.
