I cannot work anymore. If I file for and am awarded Social Security Disability what happens to my Workers’ Compensation benefit?

If you have established entitlement to PTD benefits and you become eligible for Social Security disability benefits as well, you may receive both. But your employer or its insurance carrier is entitled to offset your PTD benefits so that the total amount of benefits does not exceed 80% of your AWW. This offset only lasts until you reach age 62.
